At Rail & Road Auctions we are continually striving to improve the services that we offer to our consignors. Early on we learned about the frustrations that customers were having in disposing of transportation book collections alongside with their other transportation memorabilia.
The primary frustration that our customers were having was that traditional book resellers were only willing to pay pennies on the dollar to purchase transportation libraries in bulk, and when books were consigned to other auction companies they were often sold in large, unorganized groups which drove the value down significantly.
