At Rail & Road, we’re not your typical “Collector Car Auction”

From the moment that the idea was born for Rail & Road, I knew that I wanted to do things differently. For many years there has been a stigma around cars built after 1980. The reality is that, the big collector car auctions could care less about vehicles that were built after 1980. You’ve seen the TV coverage and their online listings. Unless it was built before 1980 or sealed in a bubble, they don’t care. These vehicles have become filler material leading up to their “star” collector cars.

We see things differently.

I believe that there are a generation (if not more) of people that are just as passionate about cars built after 1980. These were the cars they drove or wished they drove in High School. These were the cars on posters in their bedroom. These are the cars that are still affordable and still can bring just as much enjoyment as any “Collector Car” out there.

Don’t get me wrong. I like classic cars. I even own a few. However, it’s time that performance vehicles built after 1980 get an auction of their own. Whether it’s GM, Ford, Pontiac, Buick,  Honda, Toyota, Subaru, or BMW. We support both domestic and imported vehicles at Rail & Road. If it was built to perform, it has a home here.

Your car should be respected as much as any “Collector Car”

Stop settling for a marginal sale slot and a group of buyers that tends to look down on anything that isn’t true “American Iron”. You have a choice. At Rail & Road we have aggressively positioned our entry fees to beat any “Collector Car” auction, and we are highly competitive with online sites where you do all the work of listing your car. Our job is to partner with you to help you find someone who is going to appreciate the hard work and dedication that you’ve already shown to your car. If you’d like to talk more about your performance vehicle and why I believe our company would be a good fit, give me a call at 765-588-3400.  You can view the consignment details below and fill out an online consignment form to get the process started.

I’ve always said, “They see profit, we see your passion.”  I’d invite you to partner with us to bring your performance vehicle to market.
