The star of the auction is an Santa Fe Alco PA Stainless Steel Indian locomotive sign from an Alco PA or PB locomotive. The catalog description goes into depth on this sign, but we believe it is the best example offered at auction in a number of years.  This sign transcends beyond the railroad hobby to sign collectors, art deco collectors, and so many other arenas of collecting and decor.

This sale will also include a number of items from the East Broad Top narrow gauge railroad including a wooden narrow track gauge, Adams & Westlake table lamps marked for the EBT, and brass car chandeliers from the EBT.

Other notable pieces in this sale include an original Howard Fogg steam locomotive water color painting, Lamberton B&O ball pitcher, Santa Fe Turquoise Room service plate, Northern Central Railway / Pennsylvania Railroad depot clock, Lackawanna wooden depot sign from Grove Street in New Jersey, Pennsy Masonite tower sign from Karney, New Jersey,  Pennsylvania Railroad brass steam locomotive bell marked for the Altoona shops, a second brass bell that we believe originated from a Southern Pacific MT5 steam locomotive, Fairbanks Morse H12-44 builders plate, multiple examples of the Illinois Central French Quarter plates, A set of badges for the Baldwin Locomotive Works Fire Department Chief in original brown Rumpp leather case, a Southern Pacific AC-12 Baldwin builders plate with locomotive photograph and letter, a five chime locomotive whistle and a number of smaller whistles which are part of our “Sound it & Sell it!” promotion in conjunction with the Kentucky Steam Heritage whistle blow, and numerous other lots of quality railroadiana.

We include a number of photographs with every lot, but if there is a detail that you would like to see that we have not included, you are always welcome to email us at info@RARauctions.com or call us at 765-412-7926.
