Day 1 – Thursday June 12, 2025
Rail and Road Auctions is proud to present a great first day transportation auction for June. This auction is highlighted by not only an incredible selection of Interurban transportation memorabilia from Chicago, Philadelphia, and New York, but also railroadiana, airline memorabilia and ephemera (including first flight covers, luggage tags, timetables, etc) nautical (lanterns, steam ship china and paper, etc.) and automotive including a few road signs and other automobilia items.
The interurban items in this auction are incredible and are highlighted by a full size CTA car mockup, original gate signs from the South Shore Millennium station in Chicago, and incredible array of Pennsylvania / Philadelphia area interurban signs, papers, photos and more, and original New York Subway builders photographs from the Pullman Engineering Archive.
While our Thursday sessions have historically been reserved for more entry level collectibles, this Thursday session is filled with highlight items for all levels of collectors.
